Project Objectives
- Creation of an international trading structure for a Russian oil company in 10+ jurisdictions, including Asia and the Middle East
- Structuring activities in foreign jurisdictions with minimum tax and regulatory consequences
- VAT refund in foreign jurisdictions (when VAT obligations arise)
Results
- The structure was developed and registered, profit tax exemption was received in all 10+ foreign jurisdictions
- VAT registrations were made and VAT refunds were received in 5 foreign jurisdictions
- Business processes regarding regular preparation of reports were set up
